Improving Maternal Mental Health Outcomes Committee

Membership in the committee is open to anyone interested in improving Maternal Mental Health in the state of Utah. Members receive email updates and other communication along with notices of timely and relevant events, news and collaboration opportunities. Members are also invited to join the monthly committee meetings the third Thursday of every month from 9:00am - 10:00am to collaborate on quality improvement projects.

  • Maternal Mental Health Provider Toolkit

The Utah Women and Newborn’s Quality Collaborative has developed a provider toolkit offering essential information on identifying and treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Please use this link to access the Maternal Mental Health Provider Toolkit.

  • Birth and postpartum trauma project

Utah Women and Newborns Quality Collaborative is conducting interviews with patients and providers about birth and postpartum trauma with an aim to address gaps in care and provide resources to patients and providers. We are currently seeking patients and providers who would be interested in participating. See our flyer for more details.
