About this project

These patient and partner interviews began in October 2023 as part of our Birth and Postpartum Project Needs Assessment. By November 2024, we conducted 38 patient interviews. We thank all of those who have shared their stories, which have contributed to our understanding of the breadth of birth trauma, which has lead to the creation of this website.

We would also like to thank Dr. Tracey Vogel, MD, AHN as well as all of our UWNQC committee members who contributed to this project, including Dr. Lauren A. Gimbel, MD, MSCI, and Angela Anderson, CNM for their guidance.
